Summer Sun Collection

A seasonal botanical collection inspired by the shifting light of summer in the garden

ABOUT

The Summer Sun Collection is a seasonal release of the botanical artwork created from the flowers grown in my garden or from sustainable flower farms throughout the Portland, Oregon area.

Each piece reflects the changing light of summer - from saffron morning tones to marigold midday blooms, and into the soft blush and violet hues of evening.

This is wearable art, stationery, and archival print work designed to hold the feeling of summer long after the season has passed.

 Story section:

Every piece begins in the garden-grown, gathered, and pressed by hand in season.

The flowers are arranged into compositions that follow the natural rhythm of light and color through summer, becoming botanical studies of warmth, bloom, nad fading daylight.

The sun appears through the collection as both symbol and structure-a reminder of time passing slowlhy through nature, and the beauty held within each stage of the season

The Summer Sun Collection is a seasonal body of botanical work inspired by the shifting light of summer in my Portland, Oregon garden.

Each piece begins with flowers grown, gathered, and pressed by hand, then arranged into compositions that reflect the warmth, intensity, and softness of summer light as it moved through the day-from saffron morning tones to marigold midday bloom and into the blush and violet hues of the evening.

At the center of the collection is the sun - reimagined through petals, color and natural form - becoming both a symbol and structure for the entire season.

This collection includes wearable botanical art, archival prints, stationery, and seasonal objects designed to hold the feeling of summer long after it has passed.

Each piece is released in limited seasonal qualities, intended to be collected, gifted, and lived with as part of a slower more attentive rhythm of nature. And in my world, that means being present with the season.
